Aviv Group

The Aviv Group is a digital real estate tech business and a subsidiary of Axel Springer. Aviv owns multiple brands and companies, including Groupe SeLoger and Meilleurs Agents in France, Immowelt Group in Germany, Immoweb in Belgium, and Yad2 in Israel. Aviv Group also holds minority investments in companies such as Purplebricks, Homeday, and Zumper.

Aviv Group and its parent company, Axel Springer, have actively profited from illegal settlements on Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank. Yad2, one of its key subsidiaries, has directly promoted construction projects in illegal settlements, mainly through its subsidiary Yad1. Another Yad2 brand, Drushim, blatantly promotes security and military-like jobs tied to the illegal settlements, including roles for the Israeli government.

Axel Springer

As part of the Axel Springer portfolio and a subsidiary, Aviv Group and all its companies and brands must adhere to the Axel Springer Pledge. This pledge enforces mandatory "values" for the company and all its employees, including supporting Israel, endorsing capitalism and free markets, and strengthening ties with the United States.

Axel Springer and its CEO are known for directly supporting Zionism, and they do not tolerate any employee who rejects their pledge or Zionist ideals. There have been instances where employees in their news-tech sector were pressured to control narratives about Palestine.

Axel Springer’s news agencies, such as WELT and Bild, have unapologetically used their platforms to spread anti-migrant and Islamophobic rhetoric. As a result, Axel Springer and all its subsidiaries are targets for boycotts.
